TeachReady — lesson notes, tests and assessment records for Ghanaian teachers. Last updated: September 2026.
Who we are
TeachReady is an app that helps teachers in Ghana prepare lesson notes and weekly schemes of learning, set and mark tests, give class tests to learners and keep continuous assessment records. Contact: king20kay@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Teachers and administrators: name, email address, a password (stored only as a secure scrambled "hash", never as the password itself), school name and region, and the work you create: lesson notes, forecasts, question papers, class records and scores.
- Learners: the name their teacher enters, a 4-digit PIN, their answers to class tests and their scores. Learners do not give an email address or phone number.
- Payments: if you subscribe, the plan, amount and date. Card and Mobile Money details are handled by Paystack; we never see or store them.
- Basic technical records: sign-in sessions and error logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To run the app: sign you in, save your work, mark tests and show results.
- To send you account emails: confirmation codes and password resets. We do not send marketing emails.
- To process subscription payments.
We do not sell your information and we do not show advertising.
Services we use
- Google Gemini (AI): the details you type when generating lesson notes, forecasts and questions, and learners' written answers when suggesting marks, are sent to Google to produce the result. Learners' names are not included.
- Brevo: sends account emails, so it receives your email address.
- Paystack: processes payments.
- Railway: hosts the app and its database on secure cloud servers.
Who can see what
- A teacher's class records can be seen by that teacher and, if the teacher joined a school, by the school's administrators. Independent teachers' work is private to them.
- A learner sees only their own tests and results.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep your information while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete my account. This permanently deletes your account and everything you created, including your classes, learners, scores, tests and lesson notes. Payment records may be kept where the law requires. You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing king20kay@gmail.com.
Learners' information belongs to their teacher's class record and is deleted when the teacher removes the learner, the class record, or their account.
Security
All connections use HTTPS encryption. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, sign-ins expire, and access to every class record is checked on the server.
Children
Learner accounts are created and managed by their teachers for school use. We collect only what is needed for class tests and do not use learners' information for any other purpose.

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
